Just finished installing this fan. Seems well made. Installation was straight forward enough, the instruction were clear enough for me. I installed the mount in a different order from what the manual specified in order to ease the wiring installation. I also cut the zip ties holding the wiring in the light assembly to allow the wiring to lay flatter, easing the installation of the light fixture to the fan motor. The fan works well and has no perceptible wobble, vibration or motor noise. This fan came with a kit of weights to balance the blades if necessary but balancing was not needed with this unit. The fan moves plenty of air and the LED lights (included) are dimmable by holding down the light button on the remote. Overall I’m happy with this purchase. I’ll update this review after using the fan for a few months.Update 2019-9-8: I like this fan a lot. It has run nearly 24 hours a day since its installation. It still runs quietly. It moves a lot of air even on low speed. I will likely buy another for our bedroom because it is so quiet.Update 7-27-2020: Everything I said above still applies to this fan. Still no noticeable noise after running nearly 24 hours a day since installation. I’m buying another one today and will review it after installation for comparison.

We paid to have two of these ceiling fans installed. The box, the bulbs, and the paperwork all declare the light is dimmable. But alas….they are not. Why? Don’t know. Our professional installer said it should have worked but they will not dim. Disappointing to say the least. As they are mounted on high, angled ceilings, we will not be taking them down again. Amazon??? What are you going to do about this?

item defective …. on top of that I’m out the installation costamazon did refund my money after lengthy exhausting conversation on the phone, my electrician however can’t be expected to work for free just because the fan is junk
