The fan makes noise. Been working on it for three days to solve issue. The white housing covering motor rubs against the fan blades so it makes noise. Cheaply made fan that should only cost $85 bucks instead of the $200 I paid. I have 6 different fans in my house here in Florida, and this one is the worst. My others are AC fans not DC like this one. My son has some DC fans in his house and they seem to be pretty quiet, but not this one. My other AC fans are quiet so I’m going back to that type. Wish fan companies would come back to manufacturing them in the USA.

Had a contractor install it. It’s a bright white in color. My walls are alabaster and ceilings 50% alabaster from SW. Works great.

It looks beautiful, it’s quiet and my son installed it fairly easily. The instructions were not very good though.
