This is a large fan and we did need two people to install. It replaced an out of date light and works great. It is very quiet and the remote is wonderful. Really like being able to reduce air up or down. A great value compared to price at Lowes.

Elegant and eminently functional like no other.Purchased 5 other large fans in same price range and all 5 failed within 6 months and all 5 replacements subsequently failed.I installed two of these Hunter Overtons in the Great Room, and now am going to buy 5 more for the barn. I also have some smaller Hunters around the house and going to swap a couple of them out for these because the Overtons move SO MUCH air on the lowest speed, and they are silent and beautiful. You cannot go wrong with this hunter fan , for the size it super quite and moves the air

Bought these fans for the size and Hunter reputation. installation was easy. Needed 10ft downrods which are almost non-existent with 6ft being the longest I could find for too much money. Lowes to the rescue, bought galvanized 3/4inch pipe (retrospect should have bought regular steel). The pipe was already threaded and matched the fan base threads (standard NPT). Painted them white to match the fans (galvanized is a pain to paint so use reg steel). Lowes will also cut to size and thread steel pipe for what ever size you want for free. Drilled the necessary holes for the hangar and done. Much cheaper than even the 6ft rods. Fans synced up to the wall remote with a little programming. And there’s a video on youtube if your lights or speeds are out of sync. Fans look fantastic and move some air. Considering some more Overtons for the rest of the house now.
