This is the best fan we have ever had. The installation was a breeze (no pun intended), and the fan really puts out some air. We have it in our great room with the 4.5” down rod it came with and aside from feeling the air circulating we don’t even know the fan is on because it is super quiet. It’s the most quiet fan we have ever owned. The fan has 6 speeds to it and we keep it around 2-3 because of the superior air flow. We plan to get this fan(or the 52” one) for the other rooms as well.And if a longer down rod is needed, you can get those at any hardware store.

Bought this and paid $800!!!!!!! It’s outside on a new deck area, and I thought based on your description that it would be plenty fan. It also said it came with a 4.5 downrod and it did not. We did not put the fan up until just 2 weeks ago (slow contractor building the deck) and now it’s too late to return??? It’s up and we can’t feel a thing. Not sure how to get in touch with manufacture???
