Great light/fan. Very fashionable. My 18year old loves it and it’s one of the first things her friends notice when coming over. She loves the color and brightness options!The only negatives are: 1. The light has a lifespan. It can’t be replaced when it goes out someday. 2. The fan could be stronger. (It still puts out some air but not as much as a traditional fan.)I would buy again!

So here is the true skinny on this product. Not worth the $128 I paid and I can see the product is more now. Probably worth around $60 to $70 in all honesty. The mounting bracket that screws to the ceiling is flimsy but that is due to the light and fan being very light in weight. The bracket does not allow ample room for the power wires to go through without touching the bracket. If the electrical box does not sit perfectly flush, when you tighten the bracket, it will bend. The mounting screws that hold the fan to bracket are silver in color but the housing is brown. When you turn the light off with the remote, the light still is on a little bit until you actually turn it off at the switch (possible the control box in the fan is subpar). Product is smaller then what your mind perceives from looking at the picture. The pros: It is a nice design. The light is very bright and very adjustable. The fan is very quiet with speed and direction adjustable. Overall a decent product, just not worth the price they are charging. Could be a superior product with a little bit of tweaking.

Just installed which was easy enough. 110-120vac power supply like a standard light fixture in a home. The fan moves a pretty surprising amount of air on high speed. Quite on low speed. The light is incredible so far. Being able to adjust the temp and brightness is perfect. So far, I’m impressed with what it is. Hopefully there is some longevity with this product. Reverse fan function is very nice to have and it moves good air through the room without making it feel over cooled. Decent product. Recommend.

If you have a traditional fan, particularly one with a fan controller and light controller, skip this. It has a very specific design intent in that you can’t just mount it to a normal fan electrical box and HAVE to use the drywall anchors to install this or you will get vibration. Its also extremely light weight, an advantage when you don’t have a electrical box in the location, but also means its very small and so noisy for a given airflow and poor efficiency since spinning a small blade faster is less efficient and noisy than spinning a very large blade like a 60″ slower. We ended up going with a traditional fan albeit also with remote, and the advantage of the Hunter is that it doesn’t beep when power is off and when you flip the switch it has a memory to recall the last setting and put it back to that (light and/or fan). This small fan by contrast can’t be turned off, it always glows slightly even when turned off from the remote, and you can’t turn off the fan on the remote without also turning off the light and every time you turn on the light it forgets what light setting you last had it on.Reasons to buy this:1) You have very low ceilings as this is very low profile2) You don’t have an electrical box and only have drywall to mount it to.Reasons not to buy this over a traditional fan:1) You have high ceilings (this will look too small and sacrifices functionality)2) You have an electrical box and so would want to use its mounts.3) You have a fan controller or light switch you want to preserve functionality of, as this fan will beep non-stop if you turn the light switch on the wall off and requires constant power 24×7.4) You want high efficiency and low noise fan, then get the biggest fan you can for the space blade length-wise.
