The word search puzzle may look normal, but there are no words that can be formed in the puzzle. The objective of the game is for the victims to search the words endlessly until they get deceived by the prankster. Another prank that happens during April Fool’s Day is buying a can of fake snow where the prankster sneaks outside and put a fake snow to the bedroom window of the victim. After the prankster has set up the fake snow, the victim will be forced to wake up and be told that it had snowed during the night. It notes that this kind of prank is best applied to children.
It suggests that one can also try the trick of looking for a paint that harmonizes the color of the benches. This prank can be made in public areas such as the local park or colleges where people frequently sit on benches. The prankster can paint stripes on some old clothes and make the clothes look like being painted fresh. The prankster then fastens the tape at the back of the bench with a “Wet Paint” sign. It predicts that the victim who happens to sit in the bench would freak out thinking that he sat in a newly painted bench. Also, one can make efforts in tricking someone by substituting a fake cord to a ceiling fan so that when the victim pulls the fake pull cord fixed to the ceiling, a cup of confetti surprises the victim.
The event cites two traditional pranks which have become original classic pranks of all time. The classical pranks include a coin tricking show that marks a big line in the face of the victim, the prank of putting a dollar in the floor but ripping it loudly once the victim bends over to pick up the dollar, and the quick prank which is to grab all the towels and clothes of the victim once the victim is inside the shower room.
One can also play practical jokes through the computer. It suggests that one may use the social networking site such as Facebook and change one’s birthday to April 1 in order for friends to wish a false birthday greeting. One may also hide the document of the victim in a safe place, and then make a fake document with similar document name. In addition, one may alter the auto-correct features of the victim, or could also rearrange all the icons in the victim’s computer desktop.
Furthermore, pranks have evolved for the modern prankster, and that the pranking tradition continues to have become more involved. It warns that pranks must never be violent and harmful to people. Some pranks in the modern time include decorating one’s yard with a sea of something pink while the backyard owners sleep, getting a duplicate of someone’s bank statement and changing the bank figures with a very big amount to surprise the victim, and making a soft frosted sponge cake that will make everyone dive in with the knife ending with frustration and slight horror.
Observances in marking the holiday varies around the globe such as practices in Europe where one sends a “fool’s errand” to someone and attempts to get people believe in funny things.
